CEED/UCEED The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a joint entrance exam for post-graduate studies in the field of technological design held annually jointly at all IITs and Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The examination is hosted by the Industrial Design Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay on behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is a descriptive test covering a student’s logical, creative, observation and drawing skills, tested in particular for admission to various design courses in the fields of product design, industrial design, visual communication, animation graphics, vehicle design and mobility. CEED has changed its examination pattern. Now the examination is conducted in three stages: Part A, Part B, and an interview.

CEED Examination
Part A: It contains objective type questions(multiple select questions, multiple choice questions, and numerical answer questions) online computer-based exam.
Part B: It includes questions which evaluate design, drawing and writing skills. Questions will be displayed on the computer screen and answer will be written down in the answer book provided by the invigilator and will be collected by the investigator at the end of the exam.
Part A: 1:00 hours
Part B: 2:00 hours
Candidates must have completed a degree / diploma / postgraduate degree programme of minimum 3 years (after 10+2 level)
